Financial Incentives
Employees and spouses who select a Hanover County health insurance plan are eligible to receive a financial incentive for participation in a two-step program designed to support them in taking control of their health. Employees will receive $150 per step (up to $300 per year) for employee only participation or $300 per step (up to $600 per year) for employee plus spouse participation.
Fitness Reimbursements
Benefit-eligible employees with a fitness membership may receive one 50% fitness reimbursement per quarter (up to a maximum of $50) if they utilize their membership an average of at least twice per week or 24 times per quarter.
FitThumb Wellness Portal
This online wellness portal is available to benefit-eligible employees for participation in individual and team challenges designed to support all areas of health. Participation in these challenges can be logged as part of the financial incentive program. It also allows participants to earn points which can be redeemed in the online incentive store for items such as water bottles, exercise mats, massage gift certificates, and more. Visit the Be Well wellness portal to get started.
