Dear Families, Faculty, and Staff,
We are seeking the public’s input on a textbook being considered for adoption for our Advanced Placement (AP) Human Geography course. Hanover County stakeholders are encouraged to examine this resource and provide written feedback.
The recommended textbook can be reviewed by the public as follows:

- Atlee Branch Library (9212 Rutlandshire Drive, Mechanicsville, VA 23116)
- Mechanicsville Branch Library (7461 Sherwood Crossing Place, Mechanicsville, VA 23111)
- Montpelier Branch Library (17205 Sycamore Tavern Lane, Montpelier, VA 23192)
The Atlee and Mechanicsville libraries are open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Montpelier library is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More information on the libraries, including contact information to confirm hours of operation, is available on

Assessment forms will be available at all three locations to collect written feedback from stakeholders who review the resource.
