We hope your week is off to a great start. We are excited to share with you more information about this year’s Education Expo!
The ninth annual Education Expo will return in-person this year and will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, November 6 at Patrick Henry High School.
No registration is required to attend and grab-and-go snacks will be available at no cost. This event provides students and families the opportunity to learn more about the many programs available at the high school level, such as Advance College Academy, Advance Placement, The Hanover Center for Trades and Technology, The Hanover Specialty Center, International Baccalaureate (IB), Code RVA, Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School, and more.
This year’s event will feature a student panel, an exhibit hall where representatives from various secondary programs will have additional information about the programs, and sessions of “Ed Talks” where you will have the opportunity to dive deeper into a specific program of interest. Please note that
while the event is open to all families, it will be especially helpful for those in grades five through ten.

Este año, la novena Expo de Educación será presencial otra vez y se realizará el lunes 6 de noviembre, de 5:30 a 7:30 p. m. en la Escuela Secundaria Patrick Henry.
No necesitan registrarse para poder asistir; además, tendremos botanas gratis. Este evento le da a estudiantes y familias la oportunidad de saber más sobre los muchos programas de escuela secundaria disponibles, como: Advance College Academy, Ubicación Avanzada (AP, siglas en inglés), The Hanover Center for Trades and Technology, The Hanover Specialty Center, Bachillerato Internacional (IB, siglas en inglés), Code RVA, Escuela del Gobernador "Maggie L. Walker", y muchos más.
En el evento de este año, se presentará un panel de estudiantes, una sala de exposición donde representantes de diversos programas de educación secundaria darán información adicional sobre sus programas, y sesiones de "Ed Talks", donde ustedes tendrán la oportunidad de profundizar en los programas específicos de su interés. Tengan en cuenta que,
aunque el evento estará abierto a todas las familias, será especialmente provechoso para quienes cursan los grados 5 a 10.
