Family and community engagement is vital to our continued success. We invite you to become involved with our school division and experience our rich tradition of excellence first-hand. Whether serving as a volunteer, becoming a business partner, participating on an advisory council, or simply attending one of the hundreds of events held at our schools throughout the year, your support will ensure Hanover County Public Schools remains the leader in public education.
PTA/PTO
Our parent-teacher groups are committed to the success of every student at their school. Our PTAs/PTOs host fundraisers that help support programs, equipment, and other needs at our schools. Together, they work on issues that directly affect each child in our schools. The more involved parents and guardians are in their child’s education, the more successful that child will be.
Please contact your child’s school to get involved today!
Community Partners
Our relationship with our local businesses, civic organizations, faith-based community, volunteers, and more is important in supporting student achievement. With your help, we can ensure our goal that all students are successful, life-ready citizens becomes reality.
Contact
Please contact our Business Partnerships Office for more information on how to become involved.
Volunteer
Volunteers are vital to the mission of Hanover County Public Schools (HCPS). We are grateful for all who devote their time and talents to our school division and students, and we invite you to join us!
HCPS uses the Raptor Visitor Management System as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the safety of our students, faculty, and staff. This system will allow volunteers to apply online and track volunteer hours automatically once you have completed the approval process.
To get started, you will need to complete a volunteer application online (Spanish).
If you have any questions about the volunteer application or other related questions, please contact your school's volunteer coordinator(s).
