Student Registration

Children must be five years old on or before September 30, 2020, to be eligible for kindergarten. Parents and guardians of new students may register their children for the 2020–2021 school year by completing an enrollment packet and contacting the school registrar to make an appointment.

Print, complete, and return an enrollment packet consisting of the following three forms:

If you are unable to print these forms, please contact the school registrar to arrange a time to pick up an enrollment packet in order to complete the documents prior to your face-to-face scheduled appointment.

Please bring the completed enrollment packet as well as the other items listed above under required documentation to your face-to-face appointment. At the time of registration, it shall be the responsibility of the parent or guardian to furnish satisfactory proof of actual and bona fide residency in Hanover.

Registration is not final until the in-person appointment occurs and the registrar receives all of the required documentation. In-person appointments for this purpose are permissible under current guidance provided by state officials. All staff and guests are expected to follow all official social distancing and related guidance issued by Governor Northam, the Virginia Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control, and all patrons are required to wear a mask to enter the building and during the appointment.

A school entrance health form and immunization record is also required before the start of school.
