HCPS Online Learning offers broadened opportunities for any HCPS student or educator to access quality online learning experiences that are relevant to their interests, needs, and personal goals beyond the traditional classroom. We strive to prepare them to live, learn, and work in a global community.

HCPS uses Schoology as its learning management system. Schoology in conjunction with Zoom is used to create an environment for students to synchronously engage with teachers. When needed, Hanover uses the resources provided through Virtual Virginia to support instruction in specialized courses. Opportunities for credit recovery are offered via another widely used online learning platform called Edgenuity.
