Patience. Grace. Kindness.

Dear Families,
Patience. Grace. Kindness. Three words that can be incredibly powerful when put into action. As we begin the fourth week of yet another challenging school year, I want to express my sincere gratitude to you, our families, for extending your ongoing patience, grace, and kindness to our dedicated, talented, and hard-working faculty and staff. This was a key ingredient to our success last year and is needed again this year. We are off to a great start!
We understand that the pandemic is exhausting, frustrating, and placing significant strain on us all in every aspect of our lives. We feel this, too. We all crave normalcy. The pandemic forces us to stretch ourselves beyond our capacity and make difficult decisions. Nevertheless, our dedicated and talented team continues to work incredibly hard through the toughest times we have ever faced together, and we are deeply grateful for your ongoing support.
Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting our staff with a series of posts on our social media pages (
Facebook,
Instagram, and
Twitter) for the amazing job they do each day to serve the unique needs of our students and families.
We invite you to join us in these efforts by leaving a brief note of encouragement for them in the comments section to show them how much they are valued. We also invite you to tag us in your own posts by using the hashtags #PatienceGraceKindness and #HanoverStrong.
Again, thank you for your continued patience, grace, and kindness as we work through another difficult school year. Please know that our faculty and staff are doing everything possible to provide your children the great education they deserve. If last year proved anything, it is that we can achieve anything when we work together to support each other. This partnership is what makes us successful and special as a school division and community.
With gratitude,
Dr. Michael Gill
Superintendent of Schools
