Hanover County Public Schools
3:10 p.m. Update:
Dear Families, Faculty, and Staff,
The tornado warning that was in effect for our county has expired and students, faculty, and staff are no longer sheltering in place. Dismissal will begin at all elementary schools. As we shared earlier, transportation service will be impacted at all schools.
Elementary schools are preparing for dismissal. Middle and high schools will release on time, with delays for those students utilizing bus transportation. Those students will remain supervised inside our schools until buses arrive. Parent pickup may proceed as normal. We ask for your patience as administrators coordinate the safe dismissal of our students.
We appreciate our patience, understanding, and support as we work to keep our students and staff safe. Thank you.
