Dear Families, Faculty, and Staff,
We hope you are having a great week. We are writing today to share some exciting news regarding the replacement of Battlefield Park and Beaverdam elementary schools.
We will break ground on both new school buildings later this month! The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Battlefield Park Elementary School will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at 3:30 p.m., while the ceremony for the new Beaverdam Elementary School will be held on Monday, March 24 at 3:30 p.m.
Families, staff, and local community members are welcome to attend. To allow for the smooth operation of afternoon dismissal, please do not arrive at either school until after 3 p.m.
As you may know, these construction projects mark the second and third schools constructed in our county since 2008. We are extremely proud of the significant work that has been done to-date to get to this point and greatly look forward to the construction and opening of two new, state-of-the-art school buildings.
