Dear Families,
We hope you are having a great week. We are excited to share with you more information about this year’s Education Expo!
The 10th annual Education Expo will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 28 at Atlee High School. No registration is required to attend and grab-and-go snacks will be available at no cost. This event provides students and families the opportunity to learn more about the many programs available at the high school level, such as Advance College Academy, Advanced Placement, The Hanover Center for Trades and Technology, The Hanover Specialty Center, International Baccalaureate (IB), Code RVA, Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School, and more.
This year’s event will once again feature a student panel, an exhibit hall where representatives from various secondary programs will have additional information about the programs, and sessions of “Ed Talks” where you will have the opportunity to dive deeper into a specific program of interest. Please note that
while the event is open to all families, it will be especially helpful for those in grades five through ten.
For more information about this event, students and families are encouraged to contact their school counselor or Andrea Herndon, Coordinator of Gifted Education and Advanced Studies, at
[email protected].
We look forward to seeing you in October and appreciate your support of the many opportunities we offer our students.
