Long Range Plan
Our Long Range Plan represents the collective efforts of staff, parents, students, and community members who worked tirelessly to help ensure our tradition of excellence is upheld for generations to come. From our new vision—To Inspire. To Empower. To Lead.—to our mission, beliefs, and goals, our plan will serve as a living document and be put into action at all levels of the division to better serve our students.
Long Range Educational Technology Plan
This 2019–2023 plan will provide a bridge between the expiring plan and the division’s comprehensive plan. Beginning in 2023, the Educational Technology Plan goals will be incorporated into the division’s long-range plan, thus creating one comprehensive plan for Hanover County Public Schools.
Five-Year Technology Infrastructure Plan
Highlights of the Five-Year Technology Plan include:
- Ongoing technology equipment replacement and bandwidth for existing network.
- Upgrade of wireless infrastructure to respond to increasing instructional devices and use.
- Provide a portable device for all teachers.
- Provide devices for secondary students beginning with middle schools in FY2021.
