Thank you for donating so many new pairs of socks and underwear!  We almost reached our goal of 1,000 pairs donated this year!  #caringcomets

November Service Project

This month classrooms are filling their thermometers to earn special prizes based on the number of canned foods donated.  The grade level with the largest ratio of cans to kids will earn an hour of STEAM with Mrs. J-D.  All food donations are in honor of the Hanover Christmas Mother and go to FeedMore.  Please keep sending cans!

We are also collecting new and gently used books for Chimborazo Elementary School in Henrico, Virginia.  While we are having our PTA book fair, you can give someone else the gift of reading by dropping a book outside the multipurpose room.  Thank you for spreading love to passengers at another school.

December & STEAM

On December 16th, we will spend time in the morning on our first Schoolwide STEAM Day!  Students will all be working on creating Gingerbread Houses, but each grade level will have a variation based on ability and content learned.  Check out what you're child's classroom created during the Winter Party that afternoon.

Please send in any materials the students can use in being creative - boxes, paper tubes (from paper towels, toilet paper and wrapping paper), straws, foam or fabric, decorative paints or baubles.  Nothing will be turned down!  Thank you in advance.
