Hanover County Public Schools provides special education and related services to all children with disabilities from birth through 21 inclusive. A child with a disability is eligible for special education and related services. This term includes a child who is evaluated and determined to have:

This list of related services is not exhaustive and may include other developmental, corrective, or supportive services if they are required for a child with a disability to benefit from special education.  Related services do not include medical devices that are surgically implanted or the maintenance or replacement of such devices.
