Meet the Counselors

Miss Ellis is the full time school counselor at PGES. This is her second year at PGES and she is very eager to see all of the Great Gators!  Miss Ellis received a Masterís degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Counselor Education and a Bachelorís degree from Longwood University in Psychology and Sociology.  She is a graduate of Lee-Davis High School and feels blessed to be able to stay in Hanover County.  Miss Ellis is an avid animal lover and has two dogs named Tonka and Buddy. She enjoys riding horses, spending time outside, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.  Miss Ellis loves being an advocate for all students and being able to promote life-long learning through her counseling program. She looks forward to an awesome school year!

Ms. Leonarkis is the part-time school counselor at PGES and will be working with second grade students on Tuesdays this year. She was born and raised in Spotsylvania, Virginia. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Radford University and her Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. This is her first year as a professional school counselor and she could not be more excited to get started! Courtney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, watching movies, trying new restaurants, and exploring all that Richmond has to offer. She is looking forward to a wonderful year at PGES!
