School Nurse: Allison Trevillian MSN, RN ANP-BC
As a registered nurse, I am here to provide emergency medical care, screen children for illness, teach health maintenance, administer medication, administer physician ordered treatment and/or procedures, and sometimes to be a good listener. If I can be of help to you or your children please do not hesitate to call the clinic at 723-3563.
REMINDER!! Always update the clinic emergency cards with any new medical information or changes in phone numbers. You may also call with these changes as well.
IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK PLEASE CALL THE CLINIC TO REPORT THE ABSENCE at 723-3563. When reporting an absence please leave the childís name and the teacherís name. If you wish to pick up homework assignments let me know as early as possible so I can notify the teacher and they have time to organize this so that all work is ready for you to pick up by 2:30pm on the day of the absence.
MEDICATION: All medications must be monitored and dispensed following several strict guidelines. The Hanover County School District requires school and health care services to follow these guidelines:
All medications, prescriptions and over-the-counter, must be brought to school by the parent or legal guardian.
A medication request form must be signed by the parent or legal guardian annually and must be immediately updated as changes occur.

Prescription medications must be brought to school by the parent or legal guardian in a properly labeled container dispensed by the pharmacist or physician. Label must contain the studentís name, name of medication, directions for use and the physician order, parental consent, and medication label all must agree.
Refills DO NOT require new paperwork, but must be brought to school by parent or legal guardian.
