Our Transportation Department is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of students. Our bus drivers follow all state regulations regarding school bus operation and traffic laws. You can rest easy knowing that your child’s safety is our top priority.

Bus Routes

Hanover County Public Schools reserves the right to update, adjust or change any of the bus runs, including bus numbers, at anytime. Please call (804) 365-6520 for information about your bus route.

Bus Drivers Wanted

  • Paid Training
  • The work schedule is between early September and mid-June. Drivers typically work four hours each day. This work schedule is great for parents of school-aged children.
  • Children between 12 months and school age may ride the school bus with the parent
  • Part-time contracted: health insurance, optional dental, long-term disability options are available.
  • Earn ten sick leave days per school year.
  • $250 per year paid tax-sheltered annuity.
  • Substituting Opportunities—Pay: $57.44 per day ($14.36 per hour)
